Who Are We HALA is a leading fintech player in the MENAP region that aims to redefine financial services and build the future bank of SMEs. HALA aims at empowering SMEs to start, run, and grow their businesses by providing them with cutting-edge financial and technological tools. HALA currently holds multiple entities in UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt (including HALA Payments, HALA Cashier and HALA Logistics) and offers solutions that enable merchants to digitize their payments as well as manage their sales and operations. Founded in 2017, HALA is currently duly licensed by the Saudi Arabian Central Bank as well as the Financials Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in Abu Dhabi Global Market. Key Responsibilities Own and lead the sales strategy, including revenue planning, pipeline development, and sales forecasting across all channels. Drive end-to-end sales execution for SME products and solutions, ensuring strong performance against growth and revenue targets. Build, lead, and motivate high-performing sales teams (direct sales, field, inside sales, and partnerships as applicable). Create scalable sales motions and go-to-market plans. Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Credit, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure sales readiness, smooth onboarding, and strong customer outcomes. Identify and unlock new revenue opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, partnerships, and new distribution channels. Monitor and manage sales KPIs, pipeline health, conversion rates, and portfolio performance to drive continuous improvement. Lead sales enablement efforts, including sales playbooks, training, performance management, and incentive alignment. Strengthen customer acquisition and retention by driving adoption of digital sales tools and improving the end-to-end sales experience. Ensure all sales activities adhere to compliance, governance, and risk management standards, particularly in a regulated environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field. 8-10 years total experience in financial services, fintech, banking, leasing, or SME-focused commercial roles. 3–5+ years in a senior leadership capacity (e.g., Head of SME, SME Product Lead, Segment Director, Commercial Director) Proven track record of driving revenue growth, building sales teams, and scaling SME sales operations. Strong understanding of SME customers, go-to-market strategies, and sales performance management. Solid commercial judgment with basic credit and risk literacy in regulated environments.
